My reflection


After, finished my blog template I felt satisfied it. Although, it wasn’t beautiful and designing wasn’t well when compared with my friends but I still satisfied with my blog and an ability of myself. The first time in studying about making a blog I thought that I couldn’t make it because I didn’t like the computer and confused with it every times when uses it.
Since, I started to make a blog I met many problems but I could solve the problem well. I knew that making a blog for me must use a high attempt especially, download the VDO. I tried to download the VDO. many times until I download successful. This course made me knew to making a business by myself and gave knowledge about an analysis the product such as product strategy and promotion strategy. I believed that, I could take the knowledge that I learned from this course used in working in the future.

Promotion Strategy

Pull Strategy; -Magazine ads. and TV. Commercials.
-Promotions and direct mail.

Push Strategy; -Lancôme consultants personally selling.
-Department in store display.

Lancôme has an analysis and invent the new technology of beauty by an scientific expert of the research center study the women around the world more than 50,000 people and can make the Lancôme understand the women that deeply about the skin. The new technology can make the Lancôme brand successful in product and the customer accept in the quality of brand about 7 decade.

Lancôme can attract the women by use the imagination to the place which is gorgeous and majestic. Lancôme use the color which has gray, white, and gold for suggest the women come to test the product and give knowledge about the Art of beauty. Beside, Lancôme gives a service by checking the condition of skin too.

Lancôme is the leader in the market of the skincare product and make-up product. Every product of Lancôme uses an ingredient that has a quality make the customer has a healthy skin well and creates a satisfaction in the product. Beside, Lancôme product has a research and develop the product for appropriate with the each skin.

Lancôme uses the rose to show the symbol, and the real Lancôme roses created by Delbard in 1973, it is a gorgeous, pale fuchsia rose with a very long cylinder-shaped bud. Its petals between 35-40 and thick and shiny. The Lancôme rose is a very robust rose that, according to Delbard, takes after its parents. Its father - a rosebush nicknamed "the Oak Tree" for its extreme sturdiness - produced magenta red roses. Its mother produced roses that were nearly mauve in color. This is how the rare and vibrant rose that everybody known as the Lancôme rose, came to be.

The men have 3 groups there are; the age between 20-30, 30-40, and 40 plus.

1. Make-up- face primers, foundations, tinted moisturizers, concealers, eye shadow, mascara, brows, lip color, gloss, accessories, nails, eye pencils and liners, powders.

2. Skin care- cleansers, toners, masks, exfoliators, serums, night treatment, eye care, moisturizers, lip treatment, everyday UV protection.

3. Fragrance- climat, hypnose, miracle, magnifique, tresor, o de Lancôme, magic noire.

4. Sun and Body- sun protection, self-tan and others. Products for men.

Company Background


Lancôme Paris is a prestige and a luxury brand. Owned by L’Oreal since 1964. Lancôme is a part of luxury product division, which offers skincare, fragrances, and make up.

The company founded in 1935 by Armand Petitjean in France, Armand Petitjean was exploring the ruins of a castle, Le Chateau de while vacationing in the French countryside. Petitjean’s inspiration for the company’s symbol, golden roses were the many wild roses growing around the castle.

In 1935, Lancôme launched its first five fragrances at the world fair in Brussels, there were Tendre Nuit, Bocages, Conquete, Kypre and Tropiques and Lancôme expanded its business into makeup and skincare product, one important product was Nutrix launched in 1936.

In 1978, Carol Alt who was eighteen years old became the youngest model to be the face of Lancôme and Nancy Dutiel became the model of Lancôme during this period too.

In 1982, Isabella Rossellini who was the international face of Lancôme 14 years old starred in a slew of ads. Other popular actors have also worked with brand; there are Juliette, Binoche, Uma Thurman, Drew Barrymore, Mena Suvari and Laura Morante.

In early 2007, Clive Owen became the first male spokesman of Lancôme’s men’s skincare and the fragrance Hyponose Homme.

On June 11, 2007, Kate Winslet was unveiled as the spokesmodel of Lancôme.

On January 2, 2007, Anne Hathaway was announced as the newest brand ambassador and promoted the new fragrance, Magnifique, released in August 2008.

In 2009, Lancome received the Oscar award and global superstar from Julia Roberts represented the company. Advertising of Lancôme by Julia Roberts will appear in spring 2010.

Rationale


Why this brand?
“Beauty” and “Perfect women” the two things for me I think that, it can’t separate because I have a belief that if we are beautiful we will become a perfect woman and good-looking.
“Do you agree with me?”
Nowadays, the most of women want to a beauty and a perfect women for make themselves are good-looking. I’m the general woman who isn’t beautiful and isn’t a perfect woman so I try to find the best thing for make me beautiful and good-looking . I decide to choose the Lancôme which is the best brand of cosmetic, skincare, and perfume. I feel interested this brand and find the information about the brand. I ask myself “Why do you like this brand?”
the answer is… Lancôme is the brand that can make me beautiful and become a perfect woman. I have a confidence that the brand of Lancôme can change my personality become a beautiful woman and good-looking.

The last thing I want to tell everybody that, if you want to be a perfect woman, good-looking, and beautiful… please choose this brand and I believe that if everybody know this brand deeply, you will love the brand of Lancôme like me.

In class, my group presented about greeting culture at the first day of work and my group studied about the Arab culture; this activity made me knew the greeting of Arab and the behavior of Arab when they met at the first day of work.
In the part of my blog,
I couldn’t find the information about my product completely. I tried to find the information about the strategy of the Lancôme. The information found very difficult and read understands difficult too. I tried to read it many time but I couldn’t conclude it. I felt bore with my information because it a lot of information and I started to paraphrase it, I thought that, a step of paraphrasing was a hard work for me and I couldn’t paraphrase it well because the vocabulary was difficult.
